Martin J. Book, D.O.

Dr. Book has been a practicing psychiatrist since 1979.

Dr. Book is Board Certified by:

  • The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • The American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry

He has a special interest in Psychopharmacology and Psychotherapy, with a focus on treating anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. He has served as a principal investigator for a number of industry-sponsored clinical trials.

After graduating from The University of Maryland at College Park, he earned his medical degree from the Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, Des Moines, Iowa.

He completed his Residency in Psychiatry at the Karl Menninger School of Psychiatry, Topeka, Kansas. Following that, he received an appointment to the Menninger Clinic Faculty until joining Woodmont Psychiatric Group in 1986.

Dr. Book is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (F.A.P.A.). He is also a member of several local and national medical organizations, including:

  • The American Psychiatric Association
  • The Washington Psychiatric Society
  • The Maryland State Medical Society
  • The Montgomery County Medical Society

Dr. Book has been consistently listed in the Washingtonian magazine as one of the area's "TOP DOCTORS" in Psychiatry.

Daniel S. Kim, M.D.

Dr. Kim has been a practicing psychiatrist since 2006. Since 2008, he has been board certified in:

  • Adult psychiatry

He received his bachelors degree from Cornell University in 1998, and medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 2002.

He completed his psychiatric training at Brown University in Providence, RI, in addition to a one year fellowship at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society & Institute.

Since completion of his residency training, Dr. Kim has worked in a variety of treatment settings including inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospital programs. Prior to joining the Woodmont Psychiatric Group, he has worked at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Westchester Division, Sheppard Pratt Health System, and private outpatient practices.

Julie D. Klepper, M.D.

She held a fellowship in Psychodynamic Psychiatry at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute. She was a Resident and Fellow at Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York City.)

Diego Quiros D.O.

He is a graduate of Georgetown University and received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. He did his residency at the University of Washington (Seattle, WA and Boise, ID campuses) and completed his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Cambridge Health Alliance (Harvard Medical School) in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
